PCD-tipped PVC milling cutters are used in edge banding machines to trim and round the top and bottom edges of the panels after the edge banding process of chipboard, MDF and coated materials. The panel edges can be radiused, beveled at 45 degrees and 20 degrees with PVC milling cutters and the milling cutters shall be chosen according to the operation that would be done. These dia end mills perform up to 40 times longer than regular tungsten carbide PVC milling cutters.
